Tons of people really do know how to read and write properly but all of these are taken as a normal form of life survival by the majority. Besides being able to understand phrases and sentences, reading also plays a big role in our future lives. Taken all of these into account, there is a yearly celebration of the reading month and for the year 2018, DepEd holds it with the theme: "Pagbasa: Susi sa Magandang Kinabukasan". This celebration aims to remind all Filos most especially the youth to always be knowledgeable on how important reading is as this will pave their way towards a brighter future.
Reading words, phrases, sentences or even paragraphs and essays are little steps towars reality and being able to understand what you read is a great step towards achieving your brilliant future.
